Buddy Max is known as “America’s Singing Flea Market Cowboy”, because he performed weekly at the Florida Flea Market which he founded in the late 1950’s. More than your typical “Outsider” in the music world, Buddy actually made his first recording in 1949 in New York and also spent many years driving 18 wheelers. In the world of odd and unusual records, this is a great entry.
