Unusual pressing with the Stax logo on the record and cover, but on the back cover it reads “Original American Recording by STAX-Records, Memphis Tennessee” and “Manufactured by Deutsche Grammophon, Hamburg. Printed in Germany by Gerhard Stalling AG, Oldenburg”.
This is a Stereo pressing with a cover and record label number of 2325 038. This number is also stamped in the dead wax of the record on both sides, preceded by “00”. It also has “1971” stamped in the dead wax, along with some other markings.
COVER: VG (VERY GOOD): An average used record cover. May include some seam splitting, writing, surface and/or ring wear, creasing. Most buyers are satisfied with covers we have placed in this grade for their collections. (This cover has no seam splitting but does have three small tears on the right side opening, the longest measuring less than 1/2 inch.)
VINYL: VG (VERY GOOD): Average condition for a used record. Visible scuffing or surface wear may be present with possibly some medium depth scratches. Records in this condition might have some audible surface noise and ticking, however visibly the surface still has some shine to it.
