Obscure and private label 4 song EP with the hard to find FLITE GUIDE still inside. MAL AND VAL is short for Mal Function And Valentine Heart, and was a 4 piece California band. I believe this is their first release.
The flite guide is designed to help you replicate a real, smaller version of the paper airplane the band used on the front cover….
This record has some cool 80s sounds, with great guitar and some interesting keyboards.
The record looks like it has rarely been played. Even under a lamp the vinyl shows only a very small amount of light, superficial surface marking. It plays loud and clean. There are no scratches or scuffs and no spindle marks on the labels. The cover has a bit of surface wear and a crease near the bottom left corner. It has no seam or spine splitting, no tears, and no writing. There are light corner dings. The FLITE GUIDE is all in excellent, unused condition.
