The back cover notes describe how each piece of music on here represents a certain technical recording aspect, and tells about each song in detail. This album has nearly an hour of music (14 songs) with about 35 different jazz soloists in all, including Art Pepper, Shelley Manne, Jimmy Guiffre, and others. The record labels are deep groove.
COVER: VG - (VERY GOOD MINUS): Substantial signs of wear and use, and significantly less than perfect. (The top and bottom seams are taped together)
VINYL: VG - (VERY GOOD MINUS): More significant visual wear, use and deeper scratching that causes surface noise and pops, but no skipping or repeating.

All LPs come packaged carefully in a sturdy corrugated box made specifically for mailing LPs plus a cardboard insert. The covers are placed in clear plastic record sleeves. The vinyl is removed from the cover (except for SEALED items) for shipping to prevent seam splitting during shipment.
