One of the “Holy Grail” items to run across for a John Denver collection! This is a rare Promo Only album that was given to a select few radio stations in 1984. Although the music is not a compilation Christmas songs, it was intended to be played on the air during the Christmas season of 1984. The record itself is a White Label Promo pressing with the labels reading NOT FOR SALE. The cover also reads PROMO COPY- NOT FOR SALE. Few of these were made. Side A of the record has an unusual “double pressing” label- RCA pressed TWO of the record labels onto this side, one on top of the other!
COVER: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): Minor flaws. May include light surface wear or light ring wear. Can include some seam or spine wear, however there are no splits or tears in this condition unless indicated *. Possible creasing or dings, but still relatively minor in this condition. ( * This cover has one very small surface tear on the front, measuring about 1/4 inch by 3/8 inch.)
VINYL: EX - (EXCELLENT MINUS): Not far from perfect, possibly a couple of insignificant, small flaws. Very clean and shiny surface, and little evidence of much play or handling. Minimal audible imperfections.
