When this record was released, I doubt the people at the Evsco Pharmaceutical Company intended for it to become a great piece of vinyl for a weird record collection. But how can a record full of recorded sounds of dogs heart beats NOT be a centerpiece of an unusual vinyl room?!?
On this album you hear “normal” dog heart sounds, along with some heart sounds from dogs that were probably in Animal Heaven shortly after they were recorded. There is also spoken word before the heart sounds by a veterinarian, and comprehensive notes on the back cover that, if you’re a vet student, you could probably write a grad school thesis using this information.
The cover is still in shrink wrap and is in excellent shape. Under a lamp the record shows some light cosmetic surface marking and a small amount of very light surface scuffing. There are two visible scratches on side one, neither of which can be felt on the grooves. The record has some light ticking in the background but plays with a strong sound.

All LPs come packaged carefully in a sturdy corrugated box made specifically for mailing LPs plus a cardboard insert. The covers are placed in clear plastic record sleeves. The vinyl is removed from the cover (except for SEALED items) for shipping to prevent seam splitting during shipment.
