BEE GEES PROMO ONLY 1968 LP

Nice collectible from the early days of The Bee Gees. This White Label Promo album was pressed in small numbers to promote the release of their 1968 album RARE, PRECIOUS & BEAUTIFUL. This promotional pressing was issued only for play in record stores, and features 6 songs from that LP plus a DJ talking before each song promoting this record. This was never commercially available. The other side features excerpts from THE OTHER RAY CHARLES.
The cover has a small amount of surface wear on the front, and the name of the Bee Gees songs written in the top right corner. There is no seam splitting, no spine splitting, no tears, and the back of the cover is blank. The record is very clean with a sharp glossy luster. Under a lamp the vinyl shows a bit of surface marking and a small amount of light surface scratches. There is nothing that can be felt on the grooves. The record has a moderate warp, but we listened to the entire Bee Gees side and this in no way affects the play. There is a bit of surface noise at the beginning but it plays loudly and clearly. This is a Stereo pressing.
