Mono pressing of this album on the black Mercury Long Playing Microgroove label. This was his first release on the Mercury Label. McPhatter was considered to be a great influence on the direction that R&B was headed in the 50s and 60s, but he died in 1972 at just 39 years old from liver disease brought on by excessive drinking.
COVER: VG ++ (VERY GOOD PLUS): Minor flaws. May include light surface wear or light ring wear. Can include some seam or spine wear, however there are no splits or tears in this condition unless indicated. Possible creasing or dings, but still relatively minor in this condition.
VINYL: VG - (VERY GOOD MINUS): More significant visual wear, use and deeper scratching that causes surface noise and pops, but no skipping or repeating.
