PURDUE UNIVERSITY LP
THE SPIRIT OF FARM BUREAU - MUSIC ON THE LAND!
This is a hard to find record produced by THE AMERICAN FARM BUREAU FEDERATION. The extensive back cover notes promote Purdue University, and also advertise and plug Farm Bureau. The music features The Purdue University All American Marching Band (under the Direction of Al G. Wright) and The Varsity Glee Club of Purdue University (Directed by Albert P. Stewart). There is no date listed anywhere, but I am pretty sure this dates from the 1960s. Very cool and unique LP that would make a great collectible for a Purdue fan, a Farm Bureau memorabilia collector, or a great piece of rare vinyl for an eclectic record collection.
The cover is in very nice shape, especially for its age and considering it has a white background. There is very little surface wear on the front or back and the color is vivid. There is one ding in the upper left corner and one crease near this corner. There is no seam or spine splitting, no tears, and no writing. The record is super clean and looks like it has had little play. Even under a lamp I only noticed one light scuff and a tiny bit of superficial surface marking. There is nothing that can be felt on the grooves.
