DONNA MEADE LP
DMJ Records # DM-290
This is the hard to find self-titled album on the DMJ Private Label by Donna Meade. It looks like it may be self-released, as there is no address or location mentioned for DMJ Records anywhere on the cover or record label. For a small release, there are some BIG name Nashville players on here: Larry Paxton on bass- Gregg Galbraith & Sid Hudson on guitars- Gary Prim on keyboards- Jerry Kroon on drums- and Buddy Spiker & Mark Feldman on strings. Many major label releases from this time period did not have this much talent playing on their records.
Donna Meade later had a recording contract with Mercury-Polygram Records, but this album is from before that time. Although there is no date on this LP, it looks as though it may be from the early 1980s. These were pressed in very small numbers and this is quite a rare record.
COVER: EX - (EXCELLENT MINUS): Very nice condition. A small amount of surface wear, or a couple of small flaws like minor corner dings or very light creasing, but still top notch.
VINYL: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): A few visual imperfections or minor flaws. Possible light scuffing or light scratching but not deep. Light audible imperfection may be present. The surface is still clean and retains much of the original gloss and luster.
