Released in 1971, this album is all Solo Piano Jazz music and was known as Mary Lou's first real solo record since 1929! All of the compositions are by Mary Lou Williams. Although this is a Jazz record, Mary Lou has played Blues, Spiritual, Swing, Ragtime, Free & Avant Garde. She was closely associated with Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell.
COVER: VG (VERY GOOD): An average used record cover. May include some seam splitting, writing, surface and/or ring wear, creasing. Most buyers are satisfied with covers we have placed in this grade for their collections.
VINYL: EX - (EXCELLENT MINUS): Not far from perfect, possibly a couple of insignificant, small flaws. Very clean and shiny surface, and little evidence of much play or handling. Minimal audible imperfections.
