Rare Original U.S. JOHN FURBAY Spoken Word LP
"COUNTDOWN FOR TOMORROW"
Pressed by COLUMBIA RECORD PRODUCTIONS # XCTV-87677
Known as the Jet Age Circuit Rider, JOHN FURBAY was for years the director of the global education program for Trans World Airlines on 4 continents. He recorded a series of lectures, all which are now quite hard to find on LP and nice collector's items. This one is titled Countdown For Tomorrow, and focuses on The Rapidly Changing World Of Humanity, A Dramatic Description Of The Peoples In The Emerging Nations. Very interesting material, and way ahead of its time for the period in which this was released. Great cover with a photo of Furbay standing in front of a TWA Airplane. About as cool as it gets for this type of album.
COVER: EX- (EXCELLENT MINUS): Very nice condition. A small amount of surface wear, or a couple of small flaws like minor corner dings or very light creasing, but still top notch.
VINYL: EX- (EXCELLENT MINUS): Not far from perfect, possibly a couple of insignificant, small flaws. Very clean and shiny surface, and little evidence of much play or handling. Minimal audible imperfection.
